Shah Rukh Khan Disappointed with Fan Turnout on his Birthday, Says There were 17 Fans Less than Last Year

Actor and dancer Shah Rukh Khan turned 53 yesterday, but if sources are to be believed, it was not a happy birthday for the superstar.

Aside from a performance by trapeze artists flown from Russia, one of the staple features of his birthday is that he greets the fans gathered outside his home in Mumbai.

“I travel from Delhi every year to catch a glimpse of him because that’s the kind of fan I am,” said Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s chief minister.

But according to a precocious child who lives in Mannat with Shah Rukh Khan, and may or may not call him some variation of ‘dad’, Shah Rukh Khan was not pleased with the turnout this year.

“He always counts the number of fans gathered outside our house, and this time he immediately noticed that there were fewer people than last time,” he said.

According to Shah Rukh Khan’s calculations, there were 17 fans less than last year. “He came storming inside the house after the fan meet, slamming the door of his room and locking himself inside for a good hour,” said AbRam, “We had to beg him to come out.”

SRK finally caved in when wife Gauri Khan promised that she would follow up on the 17 fans who didn’t show up this time, and bring them to him as soon as possible.

As the kids say, all’s well that ends well.
