Since you’ve taken some time out to come to the website, here are some facts about whales that will impress you:

1.  Beluga whales have flexible necks. They also love music and can sometimes perform synchronised dances.

2. Female humpback whales make best friends for life.

3. Sperm whales sleep standing up. They’re also almost extinct, which is not an impressive fact, but a pretty sad one.

4. ‘Moby Dick’ was a real whale. Author Herman Melville based it on a real whale called Mocha Dick.

5. Whales, sometimes, adopt other animals and objects.
