Thugs of Hindostan has been making headlines ever since it was announced. The epic historical drama stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Amitabh Bachchan.

The latest news that is setting the world and Aamir Khan fans on fire is the AMAZING connection the movie shares with popular American sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

A source close to the film revealed that almost all the actors in the movie have seen the legendary show starring Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel.

“Almost all the people working on Thugs have seen the show,” revealed the source, “It will be an incredible novelty for people who will watch the movie to know that many people who’ve worked on it are, in fact, fans of How I Met Your Mother.”

So is Aamir Khan a HIMYM fan?

“No, I mean I’m not sure,” said the source, “He’s never really talked about it to us. But Amitabh Bachchan has a poster in his vanity that says ‘When I’m sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead’, so it’s safe to say that he’s into the show.”

The film is slated to release this November and this exciting tidbit of news has gotten fans into a frenzy already.
