Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who is promoting his upcoming film Malang with co-star Disha Patani, recently announced that he is now only going to be seen in a hideous clown mask for all his public appearances, including onscreen in movies.

“I’m tired of being just a good looking guy,” said Kapur, in a statement released on Instagram,  “I’m a great actor but people can’t get past my chiselled body and handsome face. It’s devastating.”

The actor goes on to express how he has given rock solid performances in all his movies but has been reduced to nothing but a good-looking dude by the media.

“Everyone just focuses on my abs, and not my acting talent, which I have in spades. I promise,” reads his statement. “My outer beauty often mesmerises the viewer so much that they go into a trance and forget that I’m a great actor too.”

The actor has been a part of several movies, including Action Replayy and Kalank, and has been panned by critics for being a fairly terrible actor. But have they been wrong this whole while?

Fret not, Aditya has a solution for that problem.

“From this day forward, I will be wearing a clown mask to hide my beauty, on screen and off screen. Now you will face the full force of my acting prowess.”

Here’s hoping!
