“We’re very pleased to share the trailer of our movie with you because why should we be the only ones suffering through this mediocrity alone?,” said Kumar.

The trailer shows a tale of reincarnation and a classic case of older men creepily romancing women who are way younger than them. “It’s a legacy that we’ve built, and we want to take it forward with this film too,” said Deshmukh, “In this movie, we’re showing that if Sajid Khan was born in the 15th century, he would have been a pig then too.”

Over the course of last week, the makers of the movie have released several posters depicting each character. One of the major criticism that they’ve faced is that in no realistic scenario would Bobby Deol have enough game to land a beautiful girl like Kriti Kharbanda. Addressing this, Deol said, “Beautiful girl. Me. Curly hair. Dance.”

The series has also been criticised for having token roles for women. The male cast is, more or less, repeated over and over again in every movie, while there are new and younger actresses cast for the roles of largely unnecessary characters.

“This is not a fair assessment,” said Kumar, on this critique, “The women in these movies are very essential to the plot. Who else would we make distasteful jokes about?”

He went on to add that the reason the female characters keep getting younger is because it’s not fair for us to expect them to cast a woman who would do nothing to titillate a forty-something old man who has no business romancing a woman less than half his age on screen.

“We’ve also covered many topics that young people of today are enjoying these days. Like making transphobic jokes, making sexual overtures to uninterested women, and that dark-skinned tribal people are evil.”
