In case you forgot about it, Bollywood was made aware of a phenomenon called nepotism recently, causing everyone of them to promptly take their feet and insert it firmly in their mouths.

It also resulted in a cringe worthy award ceremony gag by Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan on the expense of Kangana Ranaut, a vocal nepotism truther. It also gave us Saif Ali Khan’s explanation of eugenics and their relation to the issue of nepotism in Bollywood.

Bizarre stuff, we know.

But clearly things are getting better now.  “I was quite involved with getting Sara on board with Karan,” he said in an interview. Sara Ali Khan was already slated for her big Bollywood debut with Sushant Singh Rajput in the upcoming move Kedarnath, when it was announced that she has been chosen to play the lead, opposite Ranveer Singh, in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba (produced by Karan Johar).

We can’t wait to see Sara in her hard-earned debut films and the subsequent open letter by Saif Ali Khan.
