ICYMI, Akshay Kumar has released a new song for his upcoming film Housefull 4, and it’s already taking the internet by storm.

“We spent almost one whole day coming up with the lyrics ‘Shaitan ka saala’, so it’s gratifying to see all that hard work being appreciated by my fans,” said Kumar.

Along with launching the song, the actor also issued the ‘Bala Challenge’ to his fellow Bollywood mates and fans, where he asked fans to send him videos of them shaving off their eyebrows as they sing ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’, all the while maintaining an awkward eye contact with the camera.

“I love challenges,” said Kumar, “If there isn’t any potential challenge to be issued, while promoting the movie, then trust God that I won’t be in the movie.”

His fans and friends have come through, with hundreds of now reptile-looking people sending videos of them performing the song, while shaving their eyebrows, to the actor.

“It kind of didn’t make any sense to shave off our eyebrows for this challenge, as it has nothing to do with the movie or the song, but Akshay sir had us pose with pads, and basically render them useless, to create awareness of how scarce those same pads are for women in villages, so who’s to say what makes sense?” said a fan who has submitted a video for the challenge.

Actor Ranveer Singh and National Award winner Ayushmann Khurrana also decided to take part in the challenge and are now have no eyebrows.

“Yes, it scares the children who live in my building and Deepika has expressly told me that I am to come nowhere near her with my eyebrow-less face, but it was worth it,” said Ranveer.
