Role Playing Gone too Far? Deepika Padukone Reveals that the ‘Yeti’ Could Have Been Ranveer Singh with Giant Prosthetic Legs

The Indian Army has claimed that they have spotted what they believe are the footprints of the mythical creature, popularly known as Yeti. A subject of many conspiracy theories and wild goose chases, the Yeti has been elusive to scientists or researchers, only appearing in blurry photographers captured by believers.

The Army shared photos of the footprints, opening the debate on their origin and what this might mean. Some researchers are claiming that it could be a mountain bear, and some believe that this is a credible Yeti sighting. But Padmavat actress Deepika Padukone’s recent statement  has cleared things up.

“It was Ranveer. Ranveer is the Yeti,” she said, addressing a press conference she had called to let people know that she had voted in the ongoing elections. She is referring to fellow actor and her husband Ranveer Singh, who is popular for his eccentric sense of style and dead butterfly collection.

“The Yeti costume is a part of our role play collection, and he must have taken them out for a spin near the place they found the footprints. The costume consists of a furry bodysuit and gigantic prosthetic legs that might have caused the confusion,” she claimed.

“I could’ve never guessed. I thought the prosthetic legs were for fancy guests”, said Alia Bhatt, when asked about Deepika’s confession, “I always thought I wasn’t fancy enough”, she added.

Other Bollywood celebs were too shook to comment on this revelation, except for Media Darling Taimur Ali Khan, who thinks it is all for attention.

“It’s all for attention”, said Media Darling Tim, while shopping for a similar looking pair of prosthetic legs, “It’s for fancy guests.”

“This has gotten way out of hand. I can’t believe I’m saying it, but this means I’m ditching my Loch Ness costume once and for all,” she said, before leaving in visible agony.

Deepika’s confession has led to further research on the mysterious footprints, but no conclusive answer has been reached.

Ranveer Yeti Singh wasn’t available for comment.
