The car that played the lead role in Taarzan the Wonder Car recently got candid at the launch of its autobiography. “My real name is not Taarzan”, claimed the car whose book also has the same title.

The car became a household name after its breakthrough role in Tarzan the Wonder Car, and also in countless pan masala ads with Ajay Devgn. “My real name is Anil,” he said.

“Not everyone knows it but my first role was in the movie Hum Saath Saath Hai. I had to gain a lot of weight to play the role of the picnic bus”, said the car. “I’ve changed lives”, said the car during the conference. “I played an iconic role and didn’t want to make irrational decisions after it. I look for challenge and growth in my work.” The iconic Stardust Award winner launched its own fashion line in 2005 and also wrote a cookbook in 2011.

“I’m in talks with RGV for a sci-fi movie. Imagine Gangs of Wasseypur meets Love Story 2050. But for cars.”, it said when asked about its future plans.

“I can definitely play a better car”, claimed Ranveer Singh, who was not present at the event, but tweeted his displeasure at the car’s growing popularity from Sonam Kapoor’s reception.
