Media Darling Taimur Ali Khan has had a tough week. Not only did he have to arrange a special dinner for his paparazzi friends who were miffed after hearing Kareena’s statements about media’s obsession with him, he also found out that his half-siblings Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan went ahead and did a photoshoot without consulting him.

“He spotted the magazine at the airport,” said aunt Karisma Kapoor, on the condition of anonymity, “He immediately ordered us to buy out the entire stock of the magazine store there and had to do the breathing exercise his anger management coach had prescribed to him for about 30 minutes before he calmed down.”

In an interview earlier this year, Kareena Kapoor had revealed that Taimur takes great interest in overseeing how the family is portrayed in the media and often gives inputs on our public appearances. “His words might be unkind and harsh, but his intentions are pure.”

The magazine cover, and the shoot that follows, is poorly styled and even more poorly shot.

Taimur has to approve of any magazine covers or promotional shoots involving any member of the family. Sara and Ibrahim went behind his back for the magazine shoot and he is, obviously, not pleased.

According to Karisma, Taimur’s relationship with his siblings was already fraught, much before the photoshoot fiasco. “Things with Sara were already rocky, especially after she appeared on Koffee With Karan, but he hasn’t spoken to Ibrahim since he overheard him telling Soha (Ali Khan) that Inaya looked cute in pink. Everyone knows it’s his colour.”

Taimur has, reportedly, called for a ‘Family Conclave’, an emergency-only meeting of all the members of the Ali Khan household, to discuss what he thinks is a ‘hideously grotesque’ crime against art and humanity.
