With the advancements made in technology and the distances we’ve explored in space and underwater, it’s safe to say that our understanding of the human nature and how life works is expanding everyday. But there are still some mysteries that are beyond human understanding, and perhaps we’ll never come to understand them.
Much like the mystery of how two leading ladies of Bollywood star in a movie together and not hate each other’s guts, a mystery that’s tearing families apart.
“I saw Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in a movie trailer together,” said a 35-year-old Delhi resident, “I figured it was some special effects thing these kids are into these days.” What this anonymous 35-year-old Delhi resident is referring to is Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Veere Di Wedding, a movie about friendship and a wedding (we presume).
The movie has gotten people talking, mostly because of its controversial theme of female friendship, a fact that is reflected onto the seemingly real friendship between Sonam and Kareena off screen as well. “It’s not natural It’s not what God intended,” wrote a male Twitter user, who we’re assuming is a female friendship expert though he hasn’t confirmed it yet.
Traditionally, women are not known to be friends with each other, let alone supporting each other without any self-interest. With Sonam and Kareena, people are confused as to why two actresses are working together without resorting to sabotaging the other behind her back or bitching about each other in interviews.
“I don’t know how to deal with things anymore. Sonam and Kareena are such good friends, why don’t they hate each other?” asked a distraught mother, who has reportedly left her family and is currently moved back with her parents.
Sonam and Kareena could not be reached for a comment.
