First Ever Image of the Black Hole Released, Revealing that It’s Still Smaller than Your Mom

An international team of astronomers and engineers working on the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) project have released the first ever image of the black hole. Scientists have revealed that this monumental discovery has confirmed that this super massive black hole is still smaller than your mom.

“The black hole measures 40 billion km across, about three million times the size of our planet. A virtual monster by any means,” says my six-year-old nephew, adding, “It’s still minuscule compared to your mother.”

The devastating burn arrives at a bittersweet moment where humanity wants to celebrate this scientific advancement, but also realise that we now have conclusive evidence that your mom is still more massive than the supper massive black hole.
