In case you were way too involved in the royal drama of Game of Thrones and somehow managed to miss the real life royal family news, Meghan Markle gave birth to a baby boy on Monday. The royal couple later took to their Instagram account to reveal the baby’s name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

“We both love binge watching Riverdale in our free time. So it was not even a question that we would be naming our kid after our favourite character from the show,” read a statement from the new parents. But not everyone is happy with the choice of name for the baby.

Baby Archie himself is, reportedly, ‘done with this shit’, and is ‘super pissed off’ about the name chosen by his parents. According to a source close to the royal family, the royal baby’s favourite character from the show is Jughead, and he was expecting to be named after him.

“In case you haven’t noticed, I’m weird. I’m a weirdo. I don’t fit in. And I don’t want to fit in. Have you ever seen me without this stupid hat on? That’s weird,” said the royal baby in a series of posts he posted earlier today on his Instagram profile named “Please name me Jughead not Archie”.

“I have been alive for all of four days, so obviously I’ve binge-watched all the seasons of the show,” he clarified, adding, “Being a member of the royal family and most importantly a die-hard fan of the entire series, I just want to be taken seriously for once in my entire goddamn life.”
